Tarqabin Nusantara Group is dedicated to advancing Planetary Health by integrating sustainable practices and health education into our research and community projects. Through publishing high-quality research on environmental health and implementing community-based initiatives like green health clinics and sustainable agriculture programs, they aim to promote holistic well-being. They look forward to collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance community to foster interdisciplinary research, share resources, and engage in global advocacy efforts to address the interconnected challenges of health and environmental sustainability. Together, we strive to create a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care’s vision is an Environmentally Sustainable, Climate Resilient, Net Zero Canadian Health System. Their mission is to build capabilities and capacity in individuals and organizations to enable the development of green health policies and practices. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Community they hope to advance our shared vision and contribute to a healthier planet, ensuring the well-being of current and future generations.
Va Por La Tierra is committed to promoting the planetary approach to sustainability through membership with the Planetary Health Alliance. They emphasize this approach through education for sustainability; implementation of sustainable food knowledge; and forms and congresses to share experiences and knowledge of Planetary Health. They are eager to work with this community to strengthen climate planetary leadership.
Regionalwert Research gGmbH develops standards and measurement methods for sustainable management in the food industry. Sustainable Performance Accounting (SPA) is an economic model for the promotion of ecological, social and resilient companies. In order to achieve an impact beyond their region, they want to participate in research networks and PH projects. Together we are better!
International Youth Alliance for Family Planning (IYAFP) is committed to collaborating with PHA to advance Planetary Health through youth-led advocacy and programming. Key areas of collaboration include Capacity Building, Program Integration, and Knowledge Sharing. IYAFP will enhance the capacity of young human rights defenders to effectively advocate for policies and programs that prioritize Planetary Health; incorporate the Planetary Health concept into its existing programming and initiatives; and actively participate in the alliance’s activities and share best practices and experiences to contribute to collective efforts. Through this collaboration, IYAFP seeks to strengthen the voice of young people in addressing Planetary Health challenges and to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
Programa Especial de Salud Planetaria del Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública has been a leader in the generation of knowledge, teaching and the creation of policies in environmental health for more than 30 years. This includes topics such as air pollution, exposure to pesticides, water pollution, climate change, sustainable food systems, among others. Currently, through the Special Program on Planetary Health, work is being done to establish the areas of Planetary Health in the institute, with the implementation of key activities in research, teaching, public policies, advocacy and university outreach to contribute to the exercise of the right to human health and a healthy environment within the framework of equity and sustainability. In addition, they seek to collaborate with the PHA to generate networks, share experiences and support the dissemination of the topic of Planetary Health to help address the current situation of environmental degradation and prevent the transgression of the planetary boundaries.
Italian Climate Network an Italian non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing the climate crisis in the Italian context through education, awareness and advocacy activities. The field of Planetary Health is still poorly known among the Italian general public, which is something they want to address through the collaboration with the PHA. Through the projects and activities of our Climate and Health section, they will endorse Planetary Health through awareness campaigns targeting the general public (talks, social media) and educational activities in schools. They are enthusiastic to get to know the international community of the PHA for networking, inspiration, sharing of resources that can be readapted to the Italian context, and contribution to joint efforts of the alliance.
Osh State University, International Medical Faculty is dedicated to advancing Planetary Health through comprehensive education, innovative research, and community engagement. Their initiatives integrate sustainable practices, public health outreach, and environmental stewardship, aiming to address the interconnectedness of human and ecological health. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, they seek to collaborate on cutting-edge research, share best practices, and participate in global advocacy efforts. Together with PHA members, they are committed to fostering a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
