The Planetary Health Alliance offers a very warm welcome to our newest members:

Activism is Medicine is dedicated to advancing the conversation around the climate emergency and more generally, promoting the concept of planetary health. Their work includes curriculum development and interviews with influential people at the forefront of climate emergency action.

Academia Nacional de Ciencias — Bolivia is focused on constant collaboration in incorporating the planetary health environment in our daily and permanent work. They intend to fulfill the role of guiding the Bolivian society in urgent and important issues with the deterioration and conservation of nature, but also to draw attention to the effects generated by climate change, pollution and better living conditions, among many others, and to establish collaborative networks at national and international level in order to disseminate information to the Bolivian audience linked to global pathways.

Instituto Ideia Ambiental is dedicated to fostering planetary health through education, research, and innovation. They are committed to equipping current and future generations with the knowledge and tools to address our most pressing environmental challenges. By collaborating with experts across sectors, they aim to catalyze systems-level changes that restore balance between human civilization and the natural world. Their vision is a just, sustainable future where both people and planet can thrive. They invite partners from diverse backgrounds to join in this critical mission.

Centre for Planetary Health Policy (CPHP) focus is on identifying ways in which Planetary Health Policy from the municipal to the international level can be translated into concrete transformation paths. As a link between health professionals, academia and policy makers, the CPHP brings together a wide range of stakeholders in a collaborative process to develop a common understanding of the complex challenges of the multidimensional planetary crises. Together they are working to find and develop sustainable solutions and value-added strategies. Through this multi-stakeholder approach, CPHP aims to create a vision for the future of a resilient, accessible, environmentally friendly, and financially viable health care system that serves as a blueprint and emanates into other sectors.

Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association (OSVSWA) is an NGO that has been working on many important issues since last more than 4 decades, which includes the activities of planetary health like nature and natural resource management, food culture, forest and climate change, and toxics hazard management. By collaborating with Planet Health Alliance, OSVSWA will be able to achieve the common goal of both the organizations in the state of Odisha in India.

Planetary Health for All is a program in Singapore funded by the US State Department. They are believers in education especially among youth, and allow them to be agents of change. In order to mold perspectives and allow them to gain exposure to planetary health early, understand its implications in the Singapore context, develop solutions to it through design thinking and innovation, and gain early interest in collaborative efforts to promote planetary health, “Planetary Health for All” was conceived. They hope to scale this regionally and learn about best practices and past experiences in other parts of the world, both regionally and globally.

Planetary Health Equity Hothouse at Australian National University addresses three major and interconnected challenges — poor health, social inequality and climate change. The goal of the Hothouse is to generate new knowledge about how to transform the consumptogenic system towards Planetary Health Equity goals. They do this through a governance-focused study: examining the political economy of the consumptogenic system and planetary health inequity; identifying the necessary inter-sectoral policies and business practices to promote planetary health equity across economic, food and energy systems; revealing how powerful actors, ideas and institutions enable or hinder the development of intersectoral policy and business practices that advance Planetary Health Equity, and ultimately they will identify strategies that socially-oriented actors can use to promote Planetary Health Equity goals. They welcome cross disciplinary, cross sectoral and cross boundary collaboration in research, education and engagement.

If an organization you are part of is interested in joining the Alliance, please fill out the application form.
