Accomplishment 1: Workshop on solid waste management with students, landlords, tenants, stakeholders and policy makers
Accomplishment 2: University of Eldoret’s Planetary Health Society brainstormed & strategized about how to conserve a local wetland (Marura) with the local community
Accomplishment 3: Promotion of planetary health among staff members at Egerton University, and students at Moi University and University of Nairobi
Accomplishment 4: Creation of a website and other social media channels to share our recent projects and upcoming events in planetary health worldwide
Accomplishment 5: Presented virtually at the 3rd Planetary Health Annual Meeting and hosted a watch party session at the University of Eldoret.
Accomplishment 6: My presentation at One Planet, One Health, One Future conference, Berlin
Accomplishment 7: Me with other panelists on “diverse opportunities for planetary health” at the One Planet, One Health, One Future Conference
Accomplishment 8: Attending a lecture at Charitѐ Campus Mitte, Berlin with Students for Planetary Health Berlin (SfPH) and participating in the World Health Summit in Berlin
Accomplishment 9: The development of the Planetary Health Eastern Africa regional hub, set to officially launch in early 2020
Accomplishment 10: Creating a theory of change for my work as a Planetary Health Campus Ambassador, which helped me understand my assumptions, outcomes, and ultimate goals in terms of my club formation, field work and community interactions, networking, and the hosting of workshops and conferences
